Scrap Trawler preserves your events by extracting all critical information at once and storing it safely in your browser. You’ll always have access — even after the event closes.

Your data is yours. You can export events to share with co-judges, or import backups when reviewing old tournaments. It’s your own portable archive of every pairing, standing, drop, and decklist.

Understand Decklists, in Any Language

Scrap Trawler includes a full local database of Magic cards, kept up to date using MTGJSON.

That means you can parse free-text decklists from your google form — even if they're in French, German, Spanish, or Japanese. No internet required, no external API calls.

Cards are indexed locally in your browser, allowing fast and fuzzy searches to match misspelled names, alt formats, or translated cards. It just works — instantly.

Deck Analysis at Your Fingertips

Once a decklist is parsed, Scrap Trawler dives deeper — offering automatic stats and breakdowns inspired by tools like Moxfield.

You’ll see mana value histograms, color identity summaries, mana production estimates, and type-based card groups. For Commander decks, you can even highlight your commander’s curve and impact.

This is just the beginning. Since Scrap Trawler runs with a full card database and structured deck input, the sky is the limit — from tutor chain visualization to archetype tagging and color balance warnings. Stats evolve as the project grows.
